Another airplane census campaign was performed within project LIFE+ MarPro, covering the area between Vila Real de Santo António and Vigo. The observers registered the presence of 10 cetacean species and 2 cetacean genera, 11 seabird species and 2 seabird genera and 2 marine turtle species. This campaign was performed from the coast line up to the 50 nm, using 30 hours of flight time distributed by parallel transects amounting to a total of 2667 nm.
